Almost No One Reads The Observer's Blog

I have no audience, and I have no motivation to write things down for myself in a place where anyone can read it. So why do I have a blog? I know many of you out there have wanted to know the true story behind "The Observer's Blog," and so I will finally tell you. Two dudes I was a summer intern with encouraged me to join their blog ring. I didn't know what I'd do with such a thing, but peer pressure eventually won me over. Not exactly "VH1 Driven" material, I know. If only I had some direction, maybe the life would come back (was it ever there?) into the blog. Maybe a name change. The name could be something super-witty and chuckle-inducing and not at all geeky. Ideally I'd get a ghostwriter to write my blog for me, and I know who I want.

You also post once a month.

I had a ghostwriter for ONE entry, once upon a time... but it didn't go over too well. Nobody batted an eye -- couldn't tell the difference! -- and I was offended.

All you have to do is integrate a bunch of astronomyish photos of planets and telescopes and whatnot into your layout, and you'll be good to go.

P.S. I love how I just googled "jane eyre + tori" (researching Bronte references in Caught a Lite Sneeze), and your site comes up SECOND, next to AMAZON, thanks.

I might have to marry you now.

According to my own research, your search returns my site first, not Amazon. I hope you publish your analysis of Caught A Light Sneeze; I've often wondered how Mr. St. John (mispronounced?) fits in with the girl zone.

You might think I often get possible-marriage proposals from girls because of my Tori Amos-ness, but you'd be wrong.

Eric's got a point.

Picture it, March 2005, trying to figure out the title of a certain suzanne vega song I began typing suzanne vega related things into the search engine, that is when I stumbled across the observeres blog. It brought forth enough laughter from my vocal cords to keep me coming back from time to time. I'd reccomend posting more frequently to maintain audience.
